* Live streams (NIP-53), to watch: a row of what's on above a feed (Following: ↵Adam Soltys9 days1-0/+3

A stream quiet for an hour is over; one that drops is retried; zaps on a stream carry its a tag. Also: the single-file build's video stub gains streamVideo (its uploads threw since the HLS uploads). * Videos are shrunk on the phone before upload; nostr.build is the first media ↵Adam Soltys2026-09-301-0/+7

No public Blossom host transcodes (nostr.build's and primal's BUD-05 /media return the same bitrate), so a 15-20 Mbps phone clip stalled on playback. src/video-compress.js re-encodes on the device with WebCodecs via Mediabunny (a lazily loaded chunk, left out of the SW precache and the standalone file): H.264, short edge 720, ~2.5 Mbps, moov first, audio passed through, rotation baked in. Anything short of a clear win uploads the original. A toast counts the shrinking down. Media hosts: blossom.nostr.build first, nostr.download second (it was unreachable for hours); a HEAD probe skips a host that doesn't answer within 5 s instead of waiting out the whole upload timeout. video-compress-test: 1080p 20 Mbps 5 s (landscape and rotated portrait) → 1.6 MB H.264 720p 2.49 Mbps with audio, moov first, in 2-3 s. * F-Droid: fastlane metadata in-repo, text lockfile, version 1.7 (code 8).fdroid-v1.7Adam Soltys2026-09-171-0/+138
From the fdroiddata review and its pipeline: store text (summary, description, icon, changelogs) belongs in fastlane/ here rather than in the recipe; the category is "Wallet"; the scanner strips committed APKs by itself, so the two scandelete entries go; and bun.lockb is a binary the scanner flags — replaced by Bun's text lockfile (bun.lock, same pinned versions). A new tag is needed for the new tree, so 1.7. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <[email protected]> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JuwQqNWtDJcxPWtEm9134z
