Thread: the reply box continues the note's highlight, one panel at the note's width.
The box sat inset beneath the focused note's grey highlight as a separate
field. It now shares the highlight: same width and background, the note's
bottom corners squared off and the box carrying them, the field inside a
quiet hairline. Under the root (no highlight) it is a soft panel of its own.
